SAN ANGELO MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS BRINGS BACK CONCERT MUSIC SERIES
The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is thrilled to announce the return of the San Angelo Concert Music Programs, a beloved series featuring outstanding musicians from across Texas and the United States. This highly anticipated program showcases both traditional chamber ensembles and contemporary or ethnic music groups, offering a diverse range of musical experiences for our community.
We are also excited to introduce Dr. Fagner Magrinelli Rocha as the new Curator of Music at SAMFA. With extensive experience as a soloist and chamber musician, Dr. Rocha brings both passion and technical mastery to the museum. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Music at Angelo State University, is the Concertmaster for the San Angelo Symphony Orchestra, and the Music Director of the Big Spring Symphony Orchestra. Under his leadership, the concert series will continue to grow as a premier musical experience in San Angelo.
Concerts will take place in the Museum’s Grand Hall, an intimate venue renowned for its exceptional acoustics. As a cultural cornerstone in San Angelo, this series draws music lovers from all walks of life, providing an enriching and inspiring atmosphere for all who attend.
Dr. Fagner Magrinelli Rocha, violin – with extensive experience performing as a soloist and chamber musician, he brings passion and technical mastery to the ensemble.
